NANOTEXNOLOGY Matchmaking (B2B) Event

 

The Matchmaking Event (B2B) is organized by PRAXI Network (member of Enterprise Europe Network - Hellas), and NANOTEXNOLOGY 2017, in order to provide an opportunity for transnational technology, business and research partnerships in the emerging fields of Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics and Nanomedicine. The event will take place on the 5th of July 2017 in Porto Palace Conference Centre & Hotel, Thessaloniki, Greece.
The aim of the Matchmaking Event is to encourage business and collaboration meetings between technology developers and technology users in order to foster technical and entrepreneurial cooperation in the fields of Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics and Nanomedicine.

Last year, in the framework of NANOTEXNOLOGY 2016, PRAXI Network and MIRTEC S.A., members of Enterprise Europe Network, in collaboration with Nanotechnology Lab LTFN, organized successfully the NANOTEXNOLOGY 2016 Matchmaking Event. The event took place in the exhibition area on Wednesday 6th of July and it attracted 150 prearranged bilateral meetings.

Researchers, Start-up companies and entrepreneurs from 20 countries had the opportunity to discuss on technological, technology transfer and business co-operations, choosing in advance profiles meeting their interests. The whole process was designed to take full advantage of the busy and creative environment of the conferences, addresing mostly to attendees but also external company and industry visitors. After the event the majority of the participants stated that it was an initiative with very positive impact and that they had interesting meetings with high possibility of forming collaborations.

Scientists and entrepreneurs, developers, engineers and practitioners, as well as companies - end users of Nanotechnologies & Organic Electronics will be able to review recent developments, identify outstanding needs and solutions for their business.

The Matchmaking process

The interested parties will be invited to register and submit their technology (offer and / or request), business and / or research cooperation profiles, which will be incorporated in the Matchmaking Event e-catalogue. The e-catalogue will be distributed to all participants prior to the event. The expressions of interest will be matched to organise direct bilateral meeting during the event. The meetings' schedule will be available to the participants prior to the event.

Technical and organisational aspects

The Matchmaking Event will follow the specifications of the Enterprise Europe Network, the largest business support organisation in Europe (and beyond), covering 58 countries. Participants may attend the NN17 and ISFOE17 or participate only in the bilateral meetings of the Matchmaking Event event. The technical aspects of the Matchmaking Event will be managed by the Enterprise Europe Network partners.
