The current Workshop will explore the cutting edge innovations and progress in novel manufacturing strategies of Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED), Organic Thin Film Transistors (OTFTs), and Sensor devices. Topics range from multi-dimensional advanced materials, fabrication processes, and device architectures keeping an eye on the requirements for upscaling to their potential applications in electronics, energy generation, lighting, and information visualisation.
The different sessions will provide a deep understanding of the fundamental aspects of different materials and interface parameters that play a role in device operational characteristics, as well as the overall design structure. The path toward functional devices involves challenges that again span across applications, including green synthesis and processing, device efficiency, stability, lifetime, and flexibility. This Workshop aims to bring together key researchers in these fields to discuss the main challenges towards the widespread applications and future perspectives (e.g. Wearables, IoT, Automotive, Consumer Products, Agriculture, Healthcare, etc).
