Language

The NN21 language will be English.

Registration and On-site Registration

Attendees can pick up their personal congress material at the registration desk.
If you register on-site at the registration desk you can pay by cash.
All conference participants including invited speakers must register for the conference and receive an official badge.
Every participant must wear an official conference badge to enter the conference rooms of the NN21.

Visas - Invitation Letters

If you need a visa, the organization will be pleased to provide you with an Invitation Letter for your application. Visa applications have to be done by yourself to the nearest Greek embassy or consulate which are going to inform you regarding the requirements and documents that are needed. Please ensure that is sufficient time left for the applications to be completed. More information about Visas can be found here.

Be aware that we won‘t be able to contact directly embassies or consulates and the participant is sole responsible to apply and follow up on his Visa application.

In order to provide you with an Invitation Letter, the following requirements have to be fulfilled:

  • Be an author of an accepted abstract
  • Have paid the advanced registration fee for this conference

Provided information needed for the invitation letter

  • Your full name (please specify family name and given name)
  • Title (Dr. Prof. Mr. Ms)
  • Organization
  • Full mailing address
  • Telephone and fax number
  • Email address
  • Additional information such as the title of the abstract
  • Copy of the bank transfer

Low-Cost Flights

Low-cost flights to Thessaloniki can be found in the following airlines' websites - Aegean Airlines, Ryanair, EasyJet, Olympic Airlines.

Currency

The currency is EURO (€). The official exchange rate is published daily in the newspapers. Cash and travelers' checks are easily exchanged in banks and hotels. Most hotels and restaurants accept international credit cards.

Liability

The NN20 organizing committee cannot be held responsible for any changes in the program due to circumstances beyond their control.

Note

The organizers do not accept liability for any loss of or damage to the personal effects of delegates attending the event. The organizers reserve the right to cancel, defer or modify the event proceedings without prior notice.

The NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021 Organizing Committee has been informed that third-party companies, pretending to be acting on behalf of the Organizers, have contacted the event speakers and attendees via telephone calls and emails requesting information for the payment of their registration fees.
We kindly ask you to DISREGARD these messages and to NOT proceed to any arrangement or payment to these third-party companies, because they do not represent in any way the Organizers.
The Organizers have not authorized any third-party entity to contact participants, attendees or exhibitors, regarding their registration and accommodation nor to distribute or sell attendees lists related to NANOTEXNOLOGY events. Please trust only the information and instructions at the Official NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021 website and the messages you receive only by the Organizing Committee. In case you receive a suspicious call or email, we kindly ask you to inform us.
Under no circumstances shall the Organizers be held liable or responsible for any claims, losses, damages, expenses or other inconvenience resulting from the actions of these third-party companies.
