The Matchmaking Event (B2B) is organized by PRAXI Network (member of the Enterprise Europe Network), and NANOTEXNOLOGY 2022, in order to provide an opportunity for transnational technology, business and research partnerships in the emerging fields of Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics, and Nanomedicine. The event will take place on the 6th of July 2022 in Thessaloniki, Greece. The aim of the Matchmaking Event is to encourage business and collaboration meetings between technology developers and technology users in order to foster technical and entrepreneurial cooperation in the fields of Nanotechnologies, Organic Electronics, and Nanomedicine.

Last year, in the framework of NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021, PRAXI Network, member of the Enterprise Europe Network, in collaboration with Nanotechnology Lab LTFN, organized successfully the NANOTEXNOLOGY 2021 Matchmaking Event. The event took place in the exhibition area on Wednesday the 7th of July and it attracted 115 prearranged bilateral meetings.

Researchers, Start-up companies and entrepreneurs from all over the world had the opportunity to explore technological, business and technology transfer collaborations, by arranging, in advance, meetings with companies relevant to their interests. The whole process was designed to take full advantage of the busy and creative environment of the conference, aimed mostly towards attendees but also external companies and visitors from relevant industries. Following the event, the majority of participants praised the initiative and its positive impact as well as the interesting meetings and new possibilities for collaborations.

The Matchmaking process (b2match platform available soon)

Participants will need to register on the b2match platform and fill out their cooperation profiles appropriately. All participants may request meetings with potential partners through the platform. The final agenda with the pre-arranged meetings’ schedule will be announced by the event organizers two days prior to the event.

Technical and organizational aspects

The Matchmaking Event will follow Enterprise Europe Network specifications. The Enterprise Europe Network is the largest business support organization in Europe (and beyond), active in more than 60 member countries. Participants have the option to attend the NN22 and ISFOE22 or participate only in the bilateral meetings of the matchmaking event. Technical support for the matchmaking event will be provided by the respective Enterprise Europe Network partners.
