Language
English is the official language of NANOTEXNOLOGY 2026.

Registration and On-site Registration
Attendees can pick up their personal congress material at the registration desk. If you register on-site at the registration desk you can pay by cash. All NANOTEXNOLOGY 2026 participants including invited speakers must register to the conference and receive an official badge. Every participant must wear an official conference badge to enter the conference rooms of NANOTEXNOLOGY 2026.

Visas - Invitation Letters

If you need a visa, the organization will be pleased to provide you with an Invitation Letter for your application. Visa applications have to be done by yourself to the nearest Greek embassy or consulate which are going to inform you regarding the requirements and documents that are needed. Please ensure that is sufficient time left for the applications to be completed. More information about Visas can be found here.

Be aware that we won‘t be able to contact directly embassies or consulates and the participant is sole responsible to apply and follow up on his Visa application.

The Invitation Letters can only be sent electronically via e-mail.

In order to provide you with an Invitation Letter, the following requirements have to be fulfilled:

  • Be an author of an accepted abstract
  • Have paid the advanced registration fee for this conference

Provided information needed for the invitation letter

  • Your full name (please specify family name and given name)
  • Title (Dr. Prof. Mr. Ms)
  • Organization
  • Full mailing address
  • Telephone and fax number
  • Email address
  • Additional information such as the title of the abstract
  • Copy of the bank transfer

Low-Cost Flights

Low-cost flights to Thessaloniki can be found in the following airlines' websites - Aegean Airlines, Ryanair, EasyJet, Olympic Airlines.

Currency
The currency is EURO (€). The official exchange rate is published daily in the newspapers. Cash and travelers' checks are easily exchanged in banks and hotels. Most hotels and restaurants accept international credit cards.

Liability
The organizing committee cannot be held responsible for any changes in the program due to circumstances beyond their control.

Note
The organizers do not accept liability for any loss of or damage to the personal effects of delegates attending the event. The organizers reserve the right to cancel, defer or modify the event proceedings without prior notice.

Safety and Security
Please do not leave bags and suitcases unattended at any time.

 

The FUTURISTIC NANOTECH EVENT is taking place during the Plenary Session of NANOTEXNOLOGY 2024 on 2nd of July in the vibrant city of Thessaloniki.

The high-spot of the event will be the FUTURE FASHION SHOW by Vassilios Kostetsos.

This segment highlights the intersection of technology and style, presenting a visionary glimpse into the future of fashion and beauty.

 

 

BEFORE YOU ENTER THE NANOTEXNOLOGY VENUE (Porto Palace Hotel)

All participants are strongly suggested to arrive at the conference venue at least 60 minutes prior to their presentation, or prior to the start of the NANOTEXNOLOGY Sessions.

Not registered attendees or support staff will not be allowed to enter the conference Venue.

All participants (Keynote/Invited/contributed speakers, participants, visitors, accompanying persons, conference staff) have to show to the Registration staff, the following documents:

  • Vaccination Certificate OR
  • Negative RT-PCR test

In case that these documents will not be provided, it is mandatory to perform a Rapid Test at a specific Test Area at the entrance of the Porto Palace Hotel.

If the Rapid Test will be NEGATIVE, the participant can access the NANOTEXNOLOGY event.

If the Rapid Test will be POSITIVE:

  • The participant will not be allowed to enter the NANOTEXNOLOGY event
  • He/she will remain at a designated area of the Porto Palace Hotel and he/she will be instructed to proceed with the Official Health Guidelines for COVID-19 cases. Also, he/she be referred to do a RT-PCR test to a certified Diagnostic Laboratory in Thessaloniki. A list of these laboratories will be provided to the participant by the NANOTEXNOLOGY Secretariat in order for him/her to choose and perform the RT-PCR test.
  • He/she will have to inform the NANOTEXNOLOGY Secretariat about the RT-PCR test results.
  • He/she will have to provide to the NANOTEXNOLOGY Secretariat a list with his/her contacts to trace any potential positive cases among the participants.
  • The Secretariat will inform EODY and the GGPP on this case.

 

AFTER YOU ENTER THE NANOTEXNOLOGY VENUE (Porto Palace Hotel)

Mask is mandatory for all participants, organizers, support & technical staff during their stay in the NANOTEXNOLOGY event premises.

Only the chair / speakers of the Workshop/Session, the participants and technical staff will be allowed to enter to the conference room.

All participants must keep a safety distance of at least 1.5 m to all directions.

The maximum occupancy for each room will be 50 persons (including participants and NANOTEXNOLOGY support staff).

The Porto Palace Hotel and the NANOTEXNOLOGY Organizers, apply the respective Health Protocols in accordance with the applicable provisions of your participation to the event and to its activities.
